My Belated Birthday Present

For my birthday mommy & daddy got me a slide/swing set! I was so excited. When mommy pulled the slide part out of the box I knew exactly what that was for! She leaned it up against the picnic table, and I thought it would be fun to try sliding down it but mommy wouldn't let me. No matter how much I cried she wouldn't let me slide. She made daddy take me inside so she could work on it. It took her about an hour to put it together (I cried almost the whole time)! Then finally I got to slide. I had to wait until the next day to swing. The swings that came with the set were for older children, some day I will be able to use them, but until then I can use my bucket seat swing.
